Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

The Law Office of Mary C. Neff LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through maryneff.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as when you submit the contact form, request a free consultation, or schedule an appointment. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and any details you share about your legal matter.

We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the Site, typically through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies and Analytics" below), including:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device information
  • Pages viewed and referring source
  • Approximate location derived from IP address
  • Access dates and times

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule consultations
  • Communicate with you by phone, email, or text message about your request
  • Maintain records of client and prospective client communications
  • Improve the content and functionality of the Site

We do not sell your personal information.

Our Client Communications Platform

We use HighLevel, a third-party customer relationship management and communications platform, to assist with contact forms, scheduling, and communications. Information submitted through these features may be processed and stored by HighLevel and its authorized service providers on our behalf, subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

Text Messaging (SMS) Consent

If you provide your phone number and opt in to receive text messages, we may send appointment reminders, follow-ups, or other communications related to your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of retaining our services. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Text messaging opt-in information is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses Google Tag Manager, which may be configured to load additional analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to help us understand how visitors use the Site. The Site's scheduling and contact form features, provided by HighLevel, may also set cookies as part of their normal operation. As of the "Last updated" date above, the Site does not use a Meta/Facebook Pixel, call-tracking technology, or live chat tool. If that changes, we will update this policy accordingly. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and communicate with you, such as our CRM provider (HighLevel), hosting provider, and email/calendar tools, or when required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries, maintaining appropriate business and legal records, conducting conflict checks, complying with professional obligations, and establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims. Information relating to clients and prospective clients may be retained as required or permitted by applicable law and professional responsibility obligations.

Your Choices

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you. We will consider and respond to such requests as required by applicable law. We may retain information when necessary or permitted for legal, ethical, security, recordkeeping, conflict-checking, or other legitimate business purposes.

Children's Privacy

This Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site except as may be appropriate in connection with the provision of legal services and in accordance with applicable law.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Submitting information through this Site, including the contact form or scheduling tool, does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until an attorney-client relationship has been formally established.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
